Overview

Ivan Korshunov works in a hyper-realistic manner of oil painting, using the old three-layer painting technique. The author is sure that this method is most organically combined with the philosophy of his work. The most interesting for Ivan is the problem of synthesis in art: the transformation of traditional images in modern reality, the relationship between time and tradition.

The artist actively exhibits at Russian and foreign exhibitions, including 12 personal (MMOMA on Petrovka (Moscow), Erarta (St. Petersburg), Fine Art Gallery (Winzavod, Moscow), Yang Gallery (Art Zone 798, Beijing, China) , Novosibirsk State Art Museum, GALERIE SONIA MONTI (Paris).

Since 2019, Ivan Korshunov has been included in the All-Russian Investment Rating "Top-100 Recognized Artists of Russia" (InArt), and in the list of the Best Contemporary Russian Artists (ARTEEX).
