Overview
The exhibition "Pulse and Impulse" at Gridchinhall presents two series of Karina’s works: seasonal landscape studies and wall panels titled "Mirages."

Karina Eganyan’s love for art began in childhood. At the age of six, she enrolled in Art School No. 1 named after Serov on Prechistenka Street. Later, she pursued a degree in design and graduated from the Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry. Having achieved success in architecture, design, and even conceptual floristry, she remains devoted to her first love — painting. After a ten-year break, Karina returned to the canvas and has not put down her brush since.

Karina lives close to nature, next to Gridchinhall. She believes this way of life is more natural for an artist, helping to slow down, focus on sensations and thoughts, and eliminate unnecessary noise. Solitude and observation are an important part of her creative practice.

As a designer, Karina Eganyan became a Red Dot Award laureate and participated in the iSaloni World Wide exhibition in Milan as an artist. Her journey to creative recognition in Italy was far from easy. In a foreign country without assistants or local agents, Karina had to navigate everything on her own. On one occasion, to complete the installation in time for the morning opening, she even had to spend the night in a shipping box. Today, she laughs as she recalls those challenges.
